The Pearls of Life memory care neighborhood offers Montessori Inspired Lifestyle®, a positive approach to providing care for adults living with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Based on the methods of Maria Montessori and as adapted for adults by Dr. Cameron Camp, founder of the Center for Applied Research in Dementia, this approach of care allows residents to focus on their individual strengths and engage in meaningful activities.

The Commons on Marice’s Pearls of Life® memory care neighborhood has been awarded the Bronze Level designation as a Montessori Inspired Lifestyle® Credentialed Community from the Center for Applied Research in Dementia.

The Commons on Marice care suites are designed to provide residents an intimate environment with 24-hour on-site staffing to assist individuals who need an enhanced level of health care services all within the comfort of your private apartment home.

Whether you’re a senior recovering from a medical procedure or illness, or a family member in need of a break or traveling, The Commons on Marice’s respite care offers the perfect solution for providing seniors with a safe place and the individualized short-term care they need.

Boxing classes are taught by Rock Steady Boxing Certified Coaches and include an exercise program that attacks Parkinson’s at its vulnerable neurological points. The program focuses on overall fitness, strength training, reaction time and balance, HIIT, and circuit training. No boxing experience is necessary and people of all ages are invited to participate. Boxers, both male and female, range in age from mid-30s to early 90s. Minimal equipment needed: hand weights, mat, and exercise bands.
